What’s on

What a busy open season we had in 2019 with something for everyone. There were new exhibitions to view as well as the Children’s Activities area to enjoy, with dressing-up proving to be very popular with children and adults alike.  Our season closed with the fun Spooky Day event on Saturday October 26th.

The museum is now closed to the public although our volunteers will continue to work through the winter. Contact us by email or leave a message on the answerphone.

Last year’s visitors enjoyed:

  • Step back to the ‘60s

  • The days of pirate radio

  • RNXS 25 – telling the story of the Felixstowe Unit from its inauguration in 1962

  • Children’s activity area (new)

  • Commemoration of the local peace celebrations in 1919

  • Updated – the story of the local men in 67th Medium Rgt RA (TA)

Our evening talks programme will continue through the winter and spring.

These informative and entertaining monthly meetings are held at Broadway House (Orwell Road) in conjunction with Felixstowe Family History Society. See below for details.
