Felixstowe Museum is now closed to the public until Easter Sunday, 1st April 2018. 

We kick off 2018 with a fun event for children: the Great Felixstowe Museum Easter Egg hunt. This extremely popular event must be be booked online. Please go to our Events page to book. The What’s On  link below will take you there. Tickets available from Friday 9th February.

Our evening talks programme will continue until July. These informative monthly meetings are held at Broadway House (Orwell Road) in conjunction with Felixstowe Family History Society. Details below.

  • In addition you’ll notice changes in other galleries including the Wiseman (RAF) room, Landguard room, etc.

  • In the Felgate room, we continued to commemorate the centenary of WW1 and highlight Felixstowe and area at War. The emphasis is on action in 1917. There are new displays to pique your interest.

  • Retained for a further year:  the poignant photographic installation by a local photographer honouring the WW1 Fallen named on Felixstowe’s War Memorial. If you haven’t already seen this, do try to come along; it’s on display in the main corridor.
