Captain Cosco’s Colossal Cargo Container Colouring Challenge

Meet Captain Cosco in the ‘Tapestry Area’ at Felixstowe Museum

Kids of all ages can take part in Captain Cosco the Panda’s ‘Colossal Cargo Container Colouring Challenge’.  Help Capt. Cosco build the largest OO scale model container stack in the world (or at least Felixstowe).

You can download ‘cut and fold containers’ from the link below, print them out on thin A4 card (160 gsm is good), colour them in with your own designs – pictures, abstract designs, invented company names, your name or favourite team – fold and glue together (glue sticks are ideal) and then bring them down to the Museum to help build the stack! When printing them out it is best to choose A4, Portrait and ‘print actual size’ or ‘100%’ so the sizes match and they stack neatly.

We also have pre-printed containers and sets of coloured pencils at the Museum for you to colour in here or take away with you to do at home.

The designs can be as simple or complex as you want. For some great examples of actual container murals try searching the Internet for images of ‘shipping container murals’.

Wow, look at this amazing container mural at Folkestone! What will yours look like?
