Stop Press: Felixstowe Museum is now a learning destination for students of the Children’s University.
We can offer two activities, each of which will take 1 – 1.5 hours: a unique Felixstowe Museum activity booklet and an activity trail sheet.
Both are full of fun things to look for and do as you go around the museum. Did you know that many years ago, Felixstowe children could watch newly designed aircraft taking off and landing on the River Orwell? In WW2 local kids knew about rescues made at sea by the sailors in their high speed motor torpedo boats from the dock area. And what will you see of the mammoths which roamed in our area 12,000 or more years ago or the Romans who invaded in more recent times?
Show your passport and ask for the activity booklet or activity trail sheet at the kiosk. Usual admission charges apply, activities free. Remember to bring your pencil case with you!
