Felixstowe Museum has more than 200 photographs and over 150 polaroids depicting life at St Audry’s Hospital. The recent completion of a project to digitise this collection has allowed Museum visitors to gain unprecedented access to these fascinating images. The vast majority of the photographic collection is now on permanent display in the St Audry’s Room, via a newly purchased ultra high definition digital photo frame. Medical protection and privacy legislation restricts public access to some photographs, but people doing family research can request copies of specific patient information. If you would like to see any original photographs that are not on display, we are happy to provide access to the rest of the collection by arrangement.
